This part of my site shows you the real inspiration that Rareware used to create the awsome weaponry in Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.

This is the AR15 (or AR34 from PD).
Rareware seem to like the AR series as they used it in GoldenEye as the AR33 and Perfect Dark as the AR34. |
This is the Smith and Western 357 Magnum (or DY357 Magnum from PD)
The heavy 6 round pistol has been used in GE and PD. |

This is the Hekler and Koch SOCom pistol (or Falcon 2 from PD)
Doesn't look too much like the Falcon 2 but it's the closest I could get. |

The VZ61 Scorpion is the KLobb fom GoldenEye.
In real life this is more powerful than in the game.

This is the MP5K2 (the DK5 from GE or the CMP150 fromPD)
Looks more like the DK5 than the CMP-150 but surely if you mix this with an Uzi (9mm) you get it. |

The all mighty FN-P90 (the RC-P90 from GE and inspiration for the RC-P120 from PD)
This gun in the two Rare games carries 80 and 120 rounds of ammunition. But in real life it only carries 50 rounds.

Anyone would know this gun by sight, although they might not know the name of the weapon. A very popular weapon in most shoot 'em ups. |
